Finding and buying a home involves a partnership between you and me.
What I bring to the partnership I bring a passion for service to my clients, to help them not just with finding a home, but minimizing the time and stress of doing so.
We'll meet at the beginning of our partnership, so I can understand what you're looking for in a home -- features, price range, location. We'll discuss how long you intend to own the home, and what your financial objectives are. We'll discuss financing, and if you don't already have it lined up, I'll recommend one or several lending sources. I may tour your current home, to see what you've created there... and take that knowledge into my home search work on your behalf.
I bring my experience in buying/rehabbing/selling homes for profit, so I can point out features of homes we're viewing that will have near-term repair or replacement costs . We'll look at the condition of heating and air conditioning, roof, foundation, electrical, plumbing, windows and doors, to help you with your decision.
Once we've found the home you want to buy, I'll bring over 25 years of contract negotiation experience and training , to get the price and terms on the home that are best for you. (So you don't have to worry about having two house payments or being homeless!)
Once we're under contract, I'll coordinate all the pre-sale details -- financing, inspections, appraisal, contingencies, title work -- and communicate with you every step of the way. Before we go to closing, I'll go over the closing statement with you, so there are no surprises at closing.
All this service comes at NO COST to you as my client. My commission is paid by the seller, only if and when you buy.
What you bring to the partnership You'll discuss thoroughly with me the features, location, and price range of your new home, to allow me to be precise and focused on showing you only homes that I believe you'll appreciate.
You'll be candid and open with feedback on the homes we see together, to allow me to refine our search.
You'll be open and honest in telling me if I ever provide you less than stellar service.
